Leadership Retreat

I have not been blogging here like I should, so today I will let you know what is happening in my world. This past weekend I went to my church retreat, it was excellent. Our church theme for this year is Devoted and Dedicated to Discipleship. Our presenter was Rev Dr N. Brown, his topic was Christian Leadership In The Church. We also went over Discipline of Leadership 101. When in leadership you must be able to pilot, steer, direct and govern. You must have Vision, Inspirations, Motivation, and be a Model. And the most important thing is you must be Anointed and Sanctified. I love going to retreats because you get to interact with your sisters and brothers in Christ in a relaxed atmosphere and you learn and have fun at the same time. If you have not had a chance to attend any church retreats for your church or any others, just try it and I'm sure you will have a great time. God Bless and have a great week!

2009

2009 is about to come to an end, there has been exciting things that have happened, the inauguration of the first African American as president of the United States, something my 84 year old dad, said did not think he would live to see. People losing jobs in record numbers. Love ones going on to be with the Lord. I am thankful to God that I was given the privilege of being here. I look forward to 2010 and I pray that there will be better things for us all. May God shower you with blessing. Happy New Year to All!

Good Morning

I hope that each of you had a Merry Christmas, I had a wonderful day celebrating the birth of Christ with family and friends. Our white Christmas has showed up a day late, but that's fine with me. So what are your plans for the New Year? I plan to continue to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and to study his word so that I am prepared to do the job that God commends of me. I will be working on leading those who are lost to the salvation of the Lord. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
